 Our
Mission
To create a continuous
open space corridor along the Appomattox River from Roslyn Landing
Park to the western city boundary, approximately two miles in
length.
To design and develop
an aesthetically pleasing, fully accessible greenway; safe for
family use that will provide recreational and other facilities, to
include a continuous, hard-surfaced trail for passive and active
users.
To respect and
incorporate existing environmental features, including wetlands,
flora and fauna, scenic views and vistas and historic elements. |
